UPDATE FOR PICAT GROUPS 5th JULY 2017

On the 1st October 2015 The Mid-Wales group centered around Knighton in Powys first wrote to the Defence Minister and then proceeded over the next few months to get information to the Llandrindod Magistrates Court and finally wrote to the Attorney General asking for permission to proceed on 19th February 2016. The other 4 PICAT groups did similar actions (Norfolk managed to find 260 people to sign as Informant Prosecutors!) and all 5 cases have now been combined.

To summarise:-

Mid Wales Group – 62 Informant Prosecutors – sent letter to A-G asking for consent to prosecute on 19th February 2016.

Norfolk Group – 260 Informant Prosecutors – sent letter to A-G asking for consent to prosecute on 9th April 2016.

Pembrokeshire Group – 50 Informant Prosecutors – sent letter to A-G asking for consent to prosecute on 3rd May 2016.

West Wales Group – 12 Informant Prosecutors – sent letter to A-G asking for consent to prosecute on 6th May 2016.

Sevenoaks Group – 15 Informant Prosecutors – sent letter to A-G asking for consent to prosecute on 17th June 2016.

Total numbers 399 . First approach to the A-G was on 19th February 2016 and last approach by 5th group was on 17th June 2016.

We have had quite a long correspondence with the Attorney-General’s Office that you can see at

http://picat.online/category/combined-groups/

We sent a draft indictment to the A-G which you can see at

http://picat.online/uncategorized/draft-indictment-sent-to-a-g-4th-february-2017/

We now feel that the delays are unacceptable and the time is getting near when we may have to take out a Judicial Review of the Attorney General’s delay in giving us a proper response to our application to get permission to proceed with our case against THERESA MARY MAY and MICHAEL CATHEL FALLON and THE OFFICES OF SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE DEFENCE AND PRIME MINISTER.
